Despite having a blazing hangover, i made something of my life yesterday!

Here’s an idea we came up with for a new MPC routine. I’m sure it will end up getting rearranged a bit over the next week or two but for now here’s the gist of it.
I sampled the main riff from M83′s Midnight City. Then I played the Moombahton-style drum pattern and recorded it as a sequence. I made the bass sounds and synth sounds in Logic and sampled them into the MPC. I sampled a couple snippets of vocals from the song, ran them through a bitcrusher and threw those in as well.
Then finally, during a blazing hangover, i just sat in bed with my MPC for an hour and jammed until it all sort of fell into place.
Bingo bango!
Please excuse the sloppiness… I’ll need to practice this one a bit!
