Good evening friends, ive got a couple remixes for you here… The XX album came storming into my life and pretty much took over a while ago. Its pretty normal for me to listen to it most days if im chilling at home, and also i go to sleep listening to it every… single… night. For reals, i love it that much. Anyhoo these remixes are both tasteful as fuck, and take interesting new approaches to the original songs…

First up is VCR (Matthew Dear Remix), its a totally different feel to the original. I can see this fitting in an indie/party set. Its got one foot on the dancefloor and one foot outside talking on the phone because its too cool to be in this club and is thinking about going home anyways…

Next is the Flufftronix remix of Infinity. Its one of those ’sounds dark and epic like dubstep but is actually really beautiful’ remixes. Flufftronix rules at this particular sound. Theres a Flufftronix remix of The Reeling by Passion Pit out there thats a similar vibe and equally awesome. I dont have any gigs where i could get away with playing them, but i listen to them at home like they are on fire! Oh fuck it, i’ll throw in The Reeling as well. Happy friday!
